Hi Erik! Thank you so much for having Michael Hyatt on & discussing the #bestyearever program. I’m working through it, too. I love this time of year for reflecting back and planning ahead. I especially appreciated your conversation about setting goals—but then not always meeting every goal. As you two said, it’s better to set 9 goals to accomplish 5 of them than to spend your days drifting with the wind. I’m guessing that fear of failure prevents some from setting goals… but let’s just get over that. :))

Great interview, Erik! I’m a goal-oriented person, but am terrible about writing them down. There are plenty of things I want to do in 2014 and beyond and I need to apply the principles you and Michael champion to make them a reality.

    Happy New Year!

Agree, have you seen Donald Miller’s Storyline? It’s a great daily format.

Thanks KC! Not writing them down makes it much harder to get any of them accomplished.

Hi Erik and Michael – excellent show we shared on the commute to the office today. So many takeaways – 3 key points : the discussion around the “messy middle” was particularly helpful for me right now, the “practicing not quitting” line was inspiring and the concept of a PUSH goal. Thanks for a practical and motivating episode.
